ABout SGB east nashville
Opened in December 2021, just a mile and a half from our original Porter Road location, our brand new taproom offers twice the capacity and features a full kitchen and restaurant concept. Despite having ample space and 2 full size patios, our new location maintains a cozy neighborhood vibe.
Our spacious wraparound bar, a focal point of the taproom, features 40 tap handles, allowing us to offer up to 25 different beers at any one time. We are proud to offer on site parking for our guests. Other amenities include, a self-serve cooler offering to-go 4 packs and singles, large merchandise area, multiple TVs, and 2 large patios.
Located within our new space is Lauter, Southern Grist’s first restaurant concept. Andrew Coins, our Executive Chef, offers up an internationally inspired menu with seasonal changes and rotating locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a blend of four to five bar-centric snacks, a half dozen shareable apps and a few larger dishes, which we encourage all to be shared amongst the table.
